Twitter is still a dumpster fire
Reading though this post by Michael Steeber over at 9to5 Mac on his recent Twitter account hack and take over makes 2 things very clear.
- 1) The importance and safety net of account security practices (i.e.: not reusing passwords, more complex passwords, 2-factor auth.) cannot be overstated.
- 2) Twitter’s entire operation from (seemingly) lower management to C-level is still a dumpster fire. What is the point or draw of being “verified” if you still get mostly automated support that ranks somewhere between dog shit and simply terrible?
Seriously, Jack. How can basic user support for so called “special” users with verified status still feel like a bottom of the barrel after thought?
